I made this calendar out of a personal need to have the moon phase dates right in front of me in physical form to help me to stay connected with the cycles.

The illustration is celebrating Motherwort for her support of the female reproductive cycles and her affinity with the heart. Valerian for her support at night calming overstimulation and aiding the body to sleep. Evening primrose as she aids in settling PMS and digestive issues AND for her nocturnal flowering habit, rapidly unfurling her petals at dusk and attracting night pollinators like the hawk moth and beetles. And if you don’t know her already, you really must! the bandy bandy snake can only be seen at night. She stays under the soil, rocks, logs, or leaf litter during the day and emerges at night to hunt, especially after rain.

I love being outside at night... the sounds.. the subtle dark colours.. and of course big Muma moon continuously cycling, growing and shrinking, pulling on the tides both outside us and within us.

Being in connection to the moon cycles is powerfully connecting and grounding for our nervous systems. Sometimes we modern humans need to gently remind ourselves to get out there at night and look up, drop in and feel the pull and release of it all.

Prints are A3 size, printed on beautiful thick Gmund Heidi 330 GSM card which is made from 100% post-consumer recycled material. It's such beautiful paper : natural, raw, textured, pulpy and warm buff coloured.
