'Relational Reciprocity' is the illustration I made for the cover of the Milkwood Permaculture Handbook.
Living in relational reciprocity is not a new concept. Indigenous peoples all over the world innately lived in this way as they knew that they were not separate to the land and that the land an all life held them in health and connection.
These days it’s a statement that has power as we are living in a time when we need to be reminded of these ways of being. Giving back while consciously forming relationships with the land, our food, each other and ourselves has almost become radical in our disconnected system.
