Sometimes I experience this profound feeling..
 
It’s as much a remembering,  a knowing,  that it is a feeling 
 
This feeling roots me in kinship 
 
A deep sense of interdependence flows through me that dissolves the boundary between my "human self" and the land on which I stand. 
 
I made this print as an expression of this feeling. An offering to myself and to you as a way to be reminded of this knowing, and once hung in our homes, will help us to take moments every day to help us remember it and hold onto it. 
 
I wanted to create a visual trigger to remind me of this experience of co-becoming.. to remember that this isn’t anything ‘new’ but actually something very old and completely innate. 
 
In our body we find the body to the earth. When we reach out our relationships keep on growing and blossoming into the space all around us, spreading roots deep down and boughs reaching up for sunlight..  
 
There is deep peace, knowing and belonging in this feeling.  An all encompassing compassion and acceptance for all life as part of the whole. It’s a zooming out, a changed perspective, a new reality. it’s a place where we can truly find home.
